(Frankfort, Ky.) -- Kentucky craft exhibitors who attended Kentucky Crafted: The Market 2003 were recognized for their booth designs at The Market's annual awards dinner on Friday, February 28, 2003, Louisville, KY. Jack and Linda Fifield, (McKee) received Best Of Show; Greg Seigel, Seigel Pottery, (Owenton) received the award for Best Overall Booth Design; Jennifer Stephenson McLamb, Beaded Bliss, ( Lexington) received Best New Exhibitor; Perry and Jody Holbrook, Kopperwood, (Asheville, North Carolina) received Best New Out-of-State Exhibitor; Karen Graves, Kentucky Bison Company, (Goshen) received the Best Kentucky Proud Food Exhibitor Award sponsored by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture; and the Exhibitors' Choice Award went to Justine Dennis, ( Lexington).
Lynn Allinger, a past retail award winner from Craft Company # 6, Rochester, New York, served as the booth judge for the exhibitors. Lynn said, " I was here six years ago, and I am so impressed by the improvements in the quality of the exhibitors' booths, products, and the overall professionalism of this show. I will be back next year."
The Craft Marketing Program congratulates all the winners for 2003 and would like to thank all the participating state agencies that helped make The Market so successful again this year.

The Program provides assistance to Kentucky residents, individuals, or groups wanting to develop as craft professionals through economic opportunities and training, to other outside entities (e.g., craft retailers, craft and art organizations, community and government agencies), and the general public.
Since 1981, the Craft Marketing Program's mission is to develop the state's craft industry, support and empower Kentucky artisans and craftspeople, create an economically viable environment for craft entrepreneurs, preserve the state's craft traditions, stimulate and support product development, and generate public awareness, public support, and public/private partnerships.
